Meet Dr. Todd Grooms

Dr. Michael Todd Grooms is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist who works to give our patients healthy smiles.
Dr. Todd was born and raised in Gastonia, NC. He attended the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill for 12 years where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Chemistry Minor degree, a Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree with honors, and a Master’s of Science degree in Pediatric Dentistry. He became Board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in October, 2007. He has been in private practice since July, 2003.
Outside of work, Dr. Todd, along with his girlfriend Suzanne, love attending concerts, exploring beaches, watching astronomy events and finding erupting volcanoes
Dr. Todd holds a Black Belt in Tang Soo Do Karate. He has completed 3 full Ironman races and 16 half Ironman races.
Dr. Todd is a huge fanatic of the UNC Tar Heels and the Carolina Hurricanes.
Dr. Todd volunteers at a Title I elementary school. He supports the Great Dane Alliance and local food banks. He is a big proponent of education as he encourages and allows students who are interested in the dental profession to shadow hi, while he sees patients.
